I'm homesick .... especially for the land. I miss the mountains, Christmas trees, etc. Everything here is so flat and boring and damn hot. I put some Fall decorations up, but it didn't help. How could it when everyday it's the same 85 degrees with the same % humidity?

That homesickness will go away. I know when I moved to AZ, I missed the ocean. Not that I ever went to the beach that much, but it was only three miles away. And you could smell the aroma of the ocean. I haven't had that feeling for a long time now.

You will find new things that will pique your interest. Just give it time.
