Legally, I think there is an issue either/any way with getting a new name on the ballot after Sept. 16th. Of course watch the D's bypass this rule. Another Democrat Dirty Trick(TM) is in the works.

If Torriscumbag resigns, within 30 days, McGreedy CAN name a replacement and cancel the race, till 2003.
