Having seen their Missouri brethern successfully elect a dead man to the U. S. Senate, Dems in Hawaii seem to be following their example, story here. (Very ill, possibly near death Patsy Mink remains on the ballot).

Iowa Granny - any turnaround in opinion since the Harkin "bugging" revelations? You cited a poll in the previous thread, but I believe you noted that it was taken before the whole story had been revealed, and Harkin still had a substantial lead at that time.

I'm back. I went to California to be with my mother. She had a massive stroke, for which she will not recover. Too make a long story short, mom, was doing OK when I got there, but went down hill on Thursday. I left her in a coma, and resting peacefully, as we await her final day. Please keep praying as my little sister is taking this badly. I know mom will be with the Lord soon, as she was a born again Catholic Christian. It was our relationship with the Lord, that made our relationship special. I will keep all of you posted.
