And...It should have been the first thing out of Ed's mouth to 911

The transcripts of the 911 call have never been published so I'm assuming that this is speculation on your part. I think that Ed probably did tell them what MK had reported. I base this on the fact that it only took 12 minutes for the first officer to arrive. This is an indication that either there was nothing going on for the police that night or that it had a priority given to it. I believe that the first officers on the scene were not entirely convinced that MK hadn't had a bad dream or was possibly covering for her sister. Many people here still think this is a possibility. As for me it has been far too long with no sign of Elizabeth to believe anything other than she was abducted.

Sure, it is speculation totally. But it is said,... because in the article the Police Chief comes right out and says that they didn't know what kind of case they had. That does not make sense, sandude.

If Ed had told them it was an abduction at gunpoint, they would know what they were dealing with, would have come with back up, and swat teams. We are dealing with a huge house surrounded by trees. That was not the case. I don't think the police were initially told about any gun.

The police in my town could be here in that amount of time and I live in the country. It is logical to say that IF Ed told them his daughter was taken at gunpoint and they could not find her, that they would be there in 12 min. along with a swat team.

If Ed first heard from Mary K. at 3:58, had time to jog all over the neighborhood knocking on doors warning neighbors of an abduction at gun point and to check their kids, plus call almost everyone in their ward.....whew!.. then at 4:01 or whatever the time was, give or take a minute..call 911....then the PD had time to get the full crew out. There was an alert out because of it. Don't make sense.

Well, sandude, don't give up hope. This amount of time means nothing. My 14 yr. old daughter was missing for 6 months, and she was found alive. Never give up hope. This is a huge country. The possibilites don't always center around your home town, believe me. I know.
