Actually, given Ricci's working arrangements at the time, I would think that any apartment would have been "pricey." According to Ed, Ricci was working 40 hours a week for him......and 30 of those hours were being applied toward the jeep purchase. How was Ricci able to afford rent, utilities, groceries, etc.? Applying 3/4 of one's pay toward the purchase of a used vehicle is certainly a new one on me.

I'm amazed that Ed even know Ricci's address! It's not (unless there are things we don't know) like they moved in the same social circle.

You forget that Ricci had a pretty lady friend who'd gotten 50 grand in a personal injury lawsuit.
