I pray for you as well - I know things are rough, but God will provide. May God Bless you my friend.

Dear Friends,

I am home. I got back Friday at midnight. I am sorry to report that my mother has had a massive stroke for which there is no hope of recovery.

When I got to the hospital last Friday morning, September 20th, she was awake and was aware of her surroundings. She was unable to speak, and her entire right side was paralyzed, but she was able to let the doctors and nurses know how she was feeling and would respond to simple commands.

On Monday they moved her to a skilled nursing home to start rehab. As the week went on, mom drifted in and out, with having good days and bad days.

On Thursday, we spent the day and night at my mothers bedside, as we normally did, taking short breaks to eat lunch or dinner. That day my sister and I noticed she wasn't alert nor was she breathing right.

After dinner they had moved mom back to the hospital. My brother had joined us by now. She was back in the "ER." They found all kinds of new things wrong.

Her doctor came in, ran tons of blood tests, and all, and then called me, my sister and brother into a private waiting room to delivered the bad news.

Mom is in her last stages of her life. He asked us if we wanted her hooked up to all kinds of machines to prolong her life, or to just let her go home naturally. We chose to let her go to Jesus naturally.

I left her in a comatose condition, with a feeding tube, and morphine injections to make her as comfortable as possible.

I want to thank all of you for your prayers. My flight to California was uneventful, with near empty airplanes. On one trip I had an entire row of seats to my self, praise the Lord.

I will keep you posted. I Would ask that you keep my family in prayer as this is a difficult time for all of us. I cry alot.

I thank Jesus mom was able to tell, I was there with her. She smiled at me as I told her stories of the grandkids. I asked mom if she knew who I was and if she knew I was there. She nodded her head and said "Uh HUH." She took my hand with her good hand and smiled. So praise the Lord, I will always be grateful that I took the trip out there when I did.

I'll keep you posted.
