Good Morning. It seems my life has become consumed with this Ganske/Harkin saga. Why is it that a campaign becomes more interesting when skull duggery is involved? Even the DM Register, lover of all things liberal, is calling for Harkin to expose the staffer responsible for obtaining and distributing the tape.

Good Morning!

Ahhhhh, nothing like a little skull duggery to spice up an election. People just love dirt.

Here's good story on the bore.

A despicable speech from a contemptible man

Distasteful as it may be, some notice should be paid to the speech that the formerly important Al Gore delivered Monday at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco.

This speech, an attack on the Bush policy on Iraq, was Gore's big effort to distinguish himself from the Democratic pack in advance of another possible presidential run. It served: It distinguished Gore, now and forever, as someone who cannot be considered a responsible aspirant to power. Politics are allowed in politics, but there are limits, and there is a pale, and Gore has now shown himself to be ignorant of those limits, and he has now placed himself beyond that pale. [snip]

It gets even better from there, a must read! Who is Micheal Kelly? I'm not familiar with him.

Well, how about pipsqueak daschle's little politicizing slam of the president today? No one has made Iraq political EXCEPT the dims.
