In addition, it's an old libertarian argument (now) to accuse anyong who doesn't blindle agree with their twisted veiws of being "socialist". Perhaps you should consider changing your voter registration.
I define socialism as taking from one to give to another or forcing one's morals on another. If you have a better definition I'd love to hear it. Example of this are subsidies, vice laws, medicare, publik edukation (one of the planks of communism), welfare, etc etc.
