Ugh sounds right. They will probably lose money on this liberal 're-telling.' I haven't read comics in years, but I have liked some of the recent movies (X-Men, Spawn) and I hear Spider Man was good.

I have heard they are coming out w/ an Iron Man movie. That should be great. Anti-communist, wealthy capitalist hero w/ cool toys and enjoys three martini lunches and hot babes. Ha ha ha. They can update the story by having him experience his heart attack while field testing DoD equipment in Iraq, ha ha ha.

In other geek comic/sci-fi/fantasy news, Scifi.com announced in their preview of the upcoming season that they are producing miniseries based on LeGuinn's "Earthsea" stories and Zelazny's "Amber" series. If they just follow the stories they should be good.

If Hollywood can consider "Iron Man" for a movie, then by golly they can consider David Boswell's "Reid Fleming, World's Toughest Milkman" for a movie. A Reid Fleming movie would be great.
