Es un toss-up, yo creo.LOL! Es verdad!

I have said it before and I will say it again. Calling this girl fashionable and gorgeous is just perfume on a pig.

It's a woman's grace and intelligence that truly makes them attractive.

God grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway...I think I inherited Irish Alzheimer's, which makes you forget everything but your enemies!

Children in Laura's presence (or Dubya's, for that matter) always seem to be happpy and having a good time, while those photographed with the bent one, his consort or Weird Al seemed very uncomfortable and, to some extent, terrified. Gee, I wonder why that is.

Oh what a difference! Since we're getting multi-lingual today, vive la difference!

Laura must have been the best teacher, don't you think?

Is Chelsea EVER in school??? She shouldn't wear her hair back like that, it isn't becoming. Meow.
My report on the Hannity and Colmes show.
Last night I had tickets to the live Hannity and Colmes show in Dearborn, Michigan.
My friend and I arrived at 4:15, and there were lines around the building. I stood in line and my friend parked the car. When she got into line she said that she heard near the front of the line that if you had a blue ticket, they there was a special reception and seating. Well lucky me, I had a blue ticket. How I got these special tickets, I will never know.
So we went to the front of the line and into a champagne and hor'dourve reception. We were then taken to our seats in the theatre and sat down. Big cushy seats, lots of legroom, I was happy.
I expected there to be an audience of at least half muslims. I didn't see any veils or head coverings.
Oliver North was the first guest and he got huge applause. He's such a cutie. Next up was a border guard and the Debbie Schlussel for the conservatives verses a college student who is the president of a muslim organization.
It was wet and wild. Debbie ( who really needs a makeover) was screaming at the Muslim, who was screaming back at her. It was really awful. ( oh, by the way, Colmes looks worse in person).
During a commercial break one of the mucky mucks from the State GOP started waving to me. I politely waved back, and then he yelled... THEY WANT YOU ON TV.
Oh great. Just what I need.
Sean Hannity had chosen my question to be asked and wanted me to be first on air. The producer came up and got me and took me to a waiting area for the microphone. On my way the state party people grabbed me and told be to say " Vote for Dick Posthumus" before my question. ( he's running for governor. I am supposed to go and stand next to him for a speach at a water treatment plant at 1:30 today, but I don't have the time). Anyway, I went up and asked my question...." Why should we believe Hillary when she says that she won't run for President".
Lots of clapping, and then Hannity said " We shouldn't". Colmes said I was obsessed with the Clintons, and then someone yelled " She was president for 8 years already".
The show lasted a couple more minutes, then we sat around to take the lead in spots for the night.
I went home, called my mom and BigWave to watch the show.
After it aired, everyone was coming out of the woodwork to make sure they weren't seeing things. They wanted to know if it was me on TV and I said yes.
I swear I am the Forrest Gump of the Guild. What a weird night.

The Miss America contestants have bathroom chaperones? What for? Yikes.

I think I read that classes at that oh-so-intellectually-challenging Oxford don't resume for a few more weeks, when Chels 'n' Ian can get back to the difficult task of being London socialites, and not just the New York socialites they've been all summer.
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
Great report - Thank you.

...when Chels 'n' Ian can get back to the difficult task of being London socialites, and not just the New York socialites they've been all summer.Yes, they'll be closing up their NY apt, and opening up the Oxford apt soon, I suppose. Two young rich socialists--or did I mean to say socialites?--I'm so confused about them.

I swear I am the Forrest Gump of the Guild. You're so funny!
To: mountaineer
Gee, I can't imagine why this one didn't get more exposure. It's not at yahoo, only found it at rex.
To: texasbluebell; Hillary's Lovely Legs
I had that thought while typing "socialite" - it was hard not to write the other, equally apt word.
HLL - I wish I could have watched H&C. Kudos for a job well done. Colmes' response is classic. You ask why a known liar (hello? Billing records, anyone?) should be believed, and he turns it around to accuse you of irrational behavior. What a loser.

Great report. I am sorry I missed it. I had my back to the TV and wasn't paying attention. Too much freeping will do that to a gal.
To: texasbluebell
OH - MY - GOSH!!!! That's priceless.
To: mountaineer
That's priceless. She's going to regret that one someday...I just have a feeling.
To: texasbluebell
Please explain Chelsea's handbag to me. I know that the shirt can't be justified.
