These are well known with the FBI, also the FBI likes to use the word police so if something goes wrong they take the flak. This is one of the reasons police and fbi go head to head at times. FBI will never make mistakes its always blamed on someone else. Thus the story police were interviewing Ed and Lois-- No FBI had brought them in for questioning. There is a big difference.
