So what's all this talk from some? "Now that we'll go in for inspections there's no need for war with Iraq."

I for one don't want war with anyone, live and let live. But why don't the appeasers see the truth? We don't have a choice and allowing inspections isn't going to do squat.

That would be why President Bush never mentions inspections as any sort of reason not to take out Saddam.

Hey look! It's the stealth version of "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, and I'm not going to believe there's Evil" right behind President Bush.
They don't look happy at all do they?

They have met way above their match! God Bless President Bush!

Believe it or not nobody has posted the text of these remarks, so I did. Sorry for the length, but dammit it's worth it!

Looks like Iraq needs to do at least seven things (the paragraphs starting with, "If the Iraqi regime wishes peace"), not just send Kofi Annan a bullcrap letter saying inspectors may enter for yet another guided tour of canned fruit factories, or whatever they show them instead of nuclear development laboratories.

You make a good point but should also have highlighted this important sentence from the President's speech:

"We will work with the U.N. Security Council for the necessary resolutions."

Certainly, that statement has to mean something? The logical interpretation is that the United States believes that further action from the Security Council is "necessary" before military action against Iraq. Perhaps, it was just one unfortunate snippet from an otherwise brilliant speech.
