Also, it's become apparent what the Rats' response is to GW's brilliant week. They can't afford to piss off the pacifists just before the elections, so no way are they going to pass a Senate resolution giving GW authority to use force.

So they huddled in their rat hole and came up with the brilliant plan to pass a resolution supporting the "strengthening of the United Nations". OMG, I hope they do it....please, God, let them go down that road.
