Amazing. UN Sec'y General Kofi Annan has solved the Iraqi crisis! Yes, that's right, he did it.

He has a letter from Iraq saying they will accept inspectors without conditions.....now they just have to get together with the UN to "discuss practical arrangements".

(Pitifully, Annan looked like he believed them)

Darnit. I just realized that takes the onus off Tommy Daschle...he can now say the Senate should wait for the inspections.

In fact, I bet Kofi Annan and his gang---who hate Republicans because they're willing to use force---had just that in mind...help their pals the Dems who also love to just sit around and talk about problems.
