First, I just noticed this is from Reuters...they put quotation marks around the words "terrorist" and "freedom". Freeepin' postmodernists.

As to Al Gore, the story says one of his themes is going to be Republican "disregard for the ailing Social Security retirement fund". Would someone please tell me what the Dims have done, proposed, thought about or said to help the SS fund? Better yet, someone please tell me which Dem has ever ADMITTED that the Social Security fund is "ailing".

You and I both know there is NO social security fund because the dems consistently "raid" it to support their incessant spending sprees.

SS should be phased out, and people should be encouraged to invest in the market. The returns, even in years like this one, are so far superior than the meager couple of percentage points of interest which SS gives them. TRUTH! We need to talk truth to the American people and they will get it - Go Bush Go!
