In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

However, lawyers have their moments of being a beacon for those of us being screwed royally by former business partners.........sometimes the advice of a good attorney can bring great comfort.........almost as well as a fifth of Aberlour.......... lol

Zogbys Special Sauce is not suffering from
desuetude Excerpt...
Bold statement
John Zogby has earned his spurs as a pollster, and so a statement he made in the Hill newspaper must have raised a few eyebrows yesterday. Mr. Zogby, in claiming to ascertain a wave of anger against incumbents, told reporter Allison Stevens that Texas Rep. Tom DeLay, the House majority whip, and two other prominent House Republicans are in danger of losing their seats in the November elections. "In every instance, once the messages are tested, the incumbents' messages go down and the challengers' go up. Here's three entrenched incumbents who could [lose on election Day]," Mr. Zogby said, referring to Mr. DeLay, as well as seven-term Republican Rep. James T. Walsh of New York and 10-term Republican Rep. Michael Bilirakis of Florida.

After eight years of Clintons (obsessed and rude)
Armed Forces in languor and desuetude
Enter stage right, on a big white horse
A President willing to change the course
To honor and justice, from a jest so lewd
(Beware, Saddam, we're gonna mess you, Dude)
To: Bella_Bru
Looks like
Kim is in a permanent state of desuetude. RIP.
