In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

It's at the Mary Jane Patent Leather Shoe site over there. And up comes this photo. I about fell on the floor. I was looking for these for xs.

Football is very nice, but shoes are much better.

well if they are Jesuit run like G'town University here, they are Catholic in Name ONLY which horks me no end, and they even have issues about whether there should be crucifixes in the classrooms etc.

slippy, i am still obsessed with that JRT purse that i will NEVER have. did i tell you that they had the entire line of Isabelle Fiore purses at the little shop at the Greenbrier, so i went in and asked if they had the JRT one, and one of the women trying on shoes there said, oh,no, bc i bought it YESTERDAY! i could have smacked her! so i went to Nordstrom when we got home and i was prepared to pony up the $ for it and THEY HAD SOLD THE 2 THEY HAD THERE> i will not have that purse and it horks me off!

I was once told by a wise older shopper, "If you see something and you really love it, buy it now. Don't wait. It won't be there when you get back."
If I have the cash on hand, I do that.
I know how much you loved that purse. It was adorable. It was so you!

past a certain age, red shoes don't seem appropriate somehow and unforuntately neither of the girls can wear them now, but they ALWAYS had a pair of red shoes when they were younger. xsbrownie has a pair of shiny navy maryjanes to go with the navy plaid school uniform. xsteen will only wear skechers or doc martins. way too style conscious.

did you notice that the current style for women's shoes is the BOWLING SHOE look? yikes! it was popular last year as well, but seems even more prevalent now! too goofy for my taste.
