Sounds like you have the right equipment .. as for the photo site there are a bunch of different ones .. I have a membership at Fotka.com
Some are free and some cost a fee

The problem is once you start scanning your photos into the computer, you need to organize them right away in files or you will soon be overwhelmed (like I am today) trying to get them organized for projects. It can VERY time-consuming.
