Prayers for all requests, and on the eve of a horrible attack, a special prayer for those who lost a loved one on 9/11, and a prayer for our leaders that God will direct our path and bless our country.

This is my first request on this thread, so I'm not sure if I'm in the right format or not, but my brother-in-law has just been diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer.

If there is room on your prayer list, please remember Bill to the Great Physician.

Thank you, JL

God bless and keep you all.

Prayers going up for Bill.

I have a few requests of my own this evening. One of my brother's best friends lost their father to a heart attack on Sunday. This gentleman set my brother and his son up in their first business, and they were quite close. Prayers for Brian, and for other family and friends is appreciated.

Please pray for my mom's best friend Jean, whose husband is in the advanced stages of the same disease Dudley Moore had. She is reluctantly placing him in a nursing home where a relative is an administrator. She has been caring for him for several years, and though she has the assistance of family and friends, she is worn out.

Prayers up for your families' friends and loved ones. Home care is the best, until the time that the care-giver starts to need care themselves. My MIL got to that point as her husband's Parkinson's Disease took its relentless toll. God bless and keep you all.

Thank you for the good thoughts and prayers and the Ohio info. Our family is aware of the wonderful hospice programs in Ohio counties - when Bill's mother's time was nearing, only last year, she chose to stay in her life-time home and have the care-givers and comforters come to her.

The sobering thought is that these decisions and questions will be posed to us in the not so distant future...God bless you both, and again thank you.
