In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

I thought I'd post this now, before I hurl. I am sorry you are not feeling well. What a surprise to find the classroom open so early. I'll clean up the chunks before the others get here...[Ewww!]...

Some of the rescuers at the World Trade Center site - Ground Zero - and the Pentagon serve as
interlocutors today on
Focus on the Family.

I just finished
Lisa Beamer's book, "Let's Roll!" last night. A hero in her own right, for the Esther-like roll she has taken in this time, thrown as she was, unwillingly, into the position of
interlocuor for her deceased husband, for all the survivors of 9-11, for our nation, and for her children, Lisa Beamer has combined all the stories from various sources that day into a touching, cohesive, page-turning book. What struck me throughout the reading was the realization (over and over again) that Todd and Lisa Beamer's story, and the dozens of lives in their family alone that were affected because of the attack on 9-11, was just one of hundreds of similar stories not only of horrifying loss and devastation, but of heroism, hope, and faith.

Postal Report: Each one of the World Trade Center towers represented one zip code in the state of New York.
Two entire zip codes were wiped out on 9-11.

I don't blame you one little bit. Many tears for me reading Mrs. Beamer's book, and listening to the accounts on the Focus radio program. We are TV-less in my house, so the overload potential is slightly less, I think.
God bless you with a wonderfilled day, xs. Have fun as Teacher!
