What a great link, for what looks like a wonderful taste experience...yes, indeed, a stop off of the motorhome would be indicated here....
I have been to Galena, Illinois many, many times....being raised in Chicago, we were always near Galena....we used to go camping for a weekend, up that way...dad would always find a campground where fishing was nearby....me and mom and my brother would spend time swimming and meeting other kids and just having a swell time camping...even as a teen-ager, when my parents were going camping near Galena, I always went with....and one of my best girlfriends used to enjoy going camping with us as well...
Saturdays were for dad to go fishing...Sundays, he took us into Galena...lots of little shops with all kinds of antiques and other goodies...
And then there was always the obligatory tour through Grants home, a tour we always loved to take...
That whole Galena area is just lovely and full of shops, restaurants, and lovely bed and breakfast, and old hotels...something for everyone...
Thanks for that link, Loddy, another place to add on to our ever growing list of places to see, and things to do...retirement will be busy, thats for sure...no moss growing on these two old stones...

By the time you have the motorhome, we should have you quite the itinerary mapped out - but the best part will be the freedom to stay as long, or short, a time in any place that strikes your fancy.
Has Andy received enough hints so that he comes through with the laptop and digital camera for Christmas?
You can't be a goof like I, and have the stuff and not know how to use it...doh.
