Just had a pleasant surprise....Andy just stopped in....came down from Seattle, to retrieve some stuff that we were still holding for him down here....

After having spent the summer living down here in Olympia, with his best friend, he was mighty anxious to get back up to Seattle...Olympia, which normally bores Andy to tears, actually held some attraction for him this summer....he and his best friend(who still lives in Olympia) went kayaking, they bought a motor boat, ,and enjoyed that, and of course the big plus was that Andy had a girlie friend down here in Olympia...but the summer weather is over, the motorboat and kayak are put away for the season, and his girlfriend is going to school in the middle of Washington....

So just BigDom and I and Dizzy were here in Olympia, certainly not enough to keep Andy living down here....so back up to Seattle he went, once he found lodging....hes just thrilled to be back up there, in the middle of the action, the women, the jobs, and activities...

Hes close enough that we can all see each other, when and if we want, yet far enough away from each other, to be a comfortable 'buffer zone'...

I am glad to hear you're on the road to recovery, with your regimen of beer, ciggy's, roasted chicken and potatoes, and some dolly shopping to make your spirits soar ;-)Nice to hear you had a good visit with your son.Any word on if you have some grandkids running round a kibbutz in Israel or some olive grove in Sicily?
