Those are funny Loddy...the one that most typifies BigDom, is the always feared by me reply that "We are not lost"...
Dom refuses to ask directions, refuses to ask anyone where we are exactly, refuses to ever backtrack, refuses to admit that he is clueless...
When we finally do find our way, Dom always blames the map makers, the city planners, the freeway engineers, and whoever else comes into his mind...
To: lodwick
My ghod Loddy, where did you find that link?
To: grannie9
The TeenTerror link was found by mountaineer over on the Guild thread - fairly shocking stuff out there.
The Guild has some very good reporters who bring both important news, and also semi-trashy topical and fashion reports there. Nice bunch of folks there. No disruptors or pinheads allowed.

That TeenTerror link was interesting stuff....I sat there, reading it, and just shaking my head....Its quite informative, seeing their view of 9/11...scarey stuff tho, in these kids...they appear completely brainwashed and indoctrinated and lacking in sympathy for the victims of 9/11....very, very scarey....

I have another window open to read their stuff in smaller type doses - so much hate is difficult to stomach at one sitting. On a lighter note:
This is a handy guide that should be as common as a driver's license in the wallet of every husband, boyfriend, or significant other.
DANGEROUS: What's for dinner?
SAFER: Can I help you with dinner?
SAFEST: Where would you like to go for dinner?
DANGEROUS: Are you wearing THAT?
SAFER: Gee, you look good in brown.
SAFEST: Wow! Look at you!
DANGEROUS: What are you SO worked up about?
SAFER: Could we be overreacting?
SAFEST: Here's fifty dollars.
DANGEROUS: Should you be eating that?
SAFER: You know, there are a lot of apples left.
SAFEST: Can I get you a glass of wine with that?
AND MY PERSONAL FAVORITE . . . . .
DANGEROUS: What did you DO all day?
SAFER: I hope you didn't overdo it today.
SAFEST: I've always loved you in that robe.

Baiona

The Pinta
We visted Baiona today, the first landfall of the Pinta on the return from America. The caravel was sent by Columbus to tell Ferdinand and Isabella of the discovery of the new land in the West. Among the thngs that the Pinta brought back from the Americas was the spirochaeta virus "trepoema pallidum" the origin of syphilis. Captain Pinzón was the first victim. It spread from Spain to the rest of Europe and by 1494 almost half the population was infected.
Notice the girl doing the Titanic thing - your AC/e photo journalist caught her in the act.

What a grand pic, of a grand ship....
And how fortunate to catch that young gal, doing her Titanic thing....
I have long admired, the explorers of old...how they had the courage and raw guts, to venture forth on the ocean, risking their lives for new discoveries....its amazing when you look at these ships, and realize the dangers they faced on those ocean voyages so many centuries ago...
Thanks for letting us see, in photos, those things and places we probably will never get to visit...
