Just got off the phone with second in command at the City Inspections Department - I'm still spitting nails.

The City Council hearing about the burned out unit, which was supposed to be in August is now TENTATIVELY scheduled for 9/23.

I can't blame the gal I was on the phone with - her hands are tied - but she knows how torqued I am. (I'm being very careful here with my language)

There are at least 2 owners and 6 lien holders involved in this........do I see $$ in the eyes of some of my legal eagle frineds over this? you better believe it.

But to add insult to injury, they want ME, in fact they EXPECT me, to get other neighbors to attend th hearing on the 23rd. Like I don't have enough other things to deal with - now I've got to do the City's work.
