Psalm 123
1 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
3 Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt

God bless you, billbears.
From the other thread, "Thank you! This is going on today. A little girl is being born and the mother has had so many physical problems. Her husband and family are very loving and supportive, it's just that she's had health problems. But all the baby's vital signs look good. "
April is strong, and the baby seems to be healthy right now, but I don't want April to have a hysterectomy at 22. She was adopted. She was found alone in a car at 2 years of age. She was most fortunately adopted into a good family and has quite a few brothers and sisters (the parents believed in adoption). My nephew, the father, was adopted by my brother. These are good people, good Christians, and I just want prayer for April today. Thank you.

I thank you all so much for your prayers. I just talked to my brother in the hospital (he's been up since 3:am) and he says that the baby's head is still not quite in the downward position, but that April and the baby are holding in there. They may not have to do a c-section, and I've told my brother that April should get all kinds of second opinions before she has a hysteroctomy.
Please, keep praying for April and the baby.

I just talked to my brother at the hospital and he said that her cervix hasn't dialated enough. They induced April two weeks early because her blood pressure was high and she had recently developed kidney problems, but the doctors are now saying that they will send Aprll home if she doesn't dialate more by 12:00 noon. My brother tells me that both April and the child are doing alright, and the doctors will send her home, rather than do a c-section.
Please friends, let us keep prayin, and I will certainly keep you updated.

I talked to my brother and the reason the inducement isn't working so so well is that they have to give the medicine at much lower levels, due to the kidney problems.

Update: my sister was diagnosed with a virus. They couldn't rule out Lyme or West Nile, but she didn't show all the symptoms of either. In any event, she's getting over it, but not before she "infected" her doctor and our mother. I don't know about the doctor, but our mother is making a speedy recovery. Thanks for prayers; it looks like everyone's healing.
