Nancy Grace, as I recall, was somewhat unsympathetic to Clinton during impeachment. At least, that's how I recall it. Just an observation.
Lots of people on TV are full of themselves.
"placed herself in the public spotlight for fun and profit"
Angela may not have originally placed herself in the spotlight, but she sure is courting it now. Grieving widow. Yeah. Very public grief she seems to have--why? That caller on LKL, from Oyster Bay, NY, had it right. The caller asked Angela if she planned to write a book and "milk this thing for all it's worth." Interestingly, Angela did not answer no to that question.
Angela is not the worst of the worst, perhaps, but you needn't be so unrealistic as to portray her as some sort of sweet saint, either. When one marries an addict/alcoholic, someone who takes very bad care of his health, such as Richard Ricci did, one takes the chance of being widowed fairly early in life.

She is a survivor and I admire that. As far as "courting" the limelight now, are you really so naive as to think larry king courted her to be on his show out the goodness of his heart? LOL. That show probably had the best ratings of anything on TV that night.

I wonder if the reason Pomoroy is hanging around isn't because she will be the book author. Someone posted she worked for the hospital, I question that. I do know she worked for Smith, Angela's attorney.
If she does write a book and find a publisher stupid enought to publish it she'll sell 3 copies, to varina, Bella, and Palladin, then they'll be stacked up the 99 cent stores around Kearns like the book OJ wrote.
