Why is it OK for Angela Ricci to give LKL ratings, and it isn't ok for the Smarts to do the same? The Smarts aren't twisting anyone's arms to interview them on TV, the shows like the Smarts because the abduction is a mystery and gets good ratings. And if the Smarts started turning down interviews, everyone would be saying "What are they trying to hide???"

"Because [Angela's] now a single mother...b/c her husband was brutally taken..."etc.
Varina, give me a break!! She was a single mother before she met Romeo--I mean, Richard. One honest thing she did on LKL was correct him when he said she had a son from a "previous marriage," she pointed out her son Trevor was not the product of a married relationship. My, what a great favor she did for her baby, having him without having a stable home set up in which to raise him.
"Brutally taken??" Come ON! Do I have to recount the stuff about this convict's record? I'm sorry he had to die, but he lived his life as a loser. He was out on parole, which was a FAVOR granted to him to shorten the sentence he otherwise would have served. I am positive he was strictly informed that he was to stay in outpatient rehab, probably for both alcohol and heroin, and that he was to be drug-tested. He didn't do these things. I am also positive he was told that if he got arrested, picked up new charges, or committed crimes while out on parole, that his parole would be OVER. They needn't wait till the new crime is proved, to revoke parole. Don't you feel the slightest compassion for the homeless people Ricci robbed when he accepted that stolen food from his friend who burglarized the food bank?
The man created his own problems. His trouble with police, his time in prison, all came to him b/c of his own actions. Angela knew he was a con, she chose him anyway. If she just had to marry him, then too bad if she had to share the consequences of his actions with him.

That caller on LKL, from Oyster Bay, NY, had it right. The caller asked Angela if she planned to write a book and "milk this thing for all it's worth." Interestingly, Angela did not answer no to that question.
I wonder if the reason Pomoroy is hanging around isn't because she will be the book author. Someone posted she worked for the hospital, I question that. I do know she worked for Smith, Angela's attorney.
If she does write a book and find a publisher stupid enought to publish it she'll sell 3 copies, to varina, Bella, and Palladin, then they'll be stacked up the 99 cent stores around Kearns like the book OJ wrote.

The Smarts aren't twisting anyone's arms to interview them on TV>/I> It's fine with me if the Smarts are on TV every day if it helps find Elizabeth -- my point was, that Angela Ricci is not making the rounds of every show on TV.

Come ON! Do I have to recount the stuff about this convict's record?Don't you get tired of beating a dead man and his widow and stepson.

Oh, give her time!! She was not only on LKL this week, but I saw a clip of her from some other show--didn't see much of the clip, looked like maybe Good Morning America. Give her time, you'll see.
Ricci's brutal imprisonment. Please. Imprisonment is brutal for anyone who undergoes it. Yes, prisons and jails are for the most part, hellholes. Ricci went back again and again and again. Don't blame the police/prison authorities for that. The blame belongs to Ricci.
You don't seem to like police or other law enforcement much. Whom do YOU call when you feel there is a threat of being victimized by a criminal?

And how many tv shows have asked Angela Ricci?

We're still waiting for her to come clean with the truth.

You don't seem to like police or other law enforcement much. Whom do YOU call when you feel there is a threat of being victimized by a criminal?I love cops. Good ones. Military types, too. Have a son who's a 9-year officer with the NYPD and a son-in-law who's a Lt. with the SFPD. Another son-in-law is a Senior Navy Submarine Commander (Arabian Sea 9/11), a brother-in-law was a Green Beret and I could go on, but I'm tired of the silly question.
To: Utah Girl
How would I know, I'm not a program booking agent.
To: Sherlock
We're still waiting for her to come clean with the truth. While you're waiting, why don't you explore some real possibilities, like the former bishop-runner-alleged girl assaulter-neighbor. Or the MO-similar Javier Sickler. Or likely suspects.
To: varina davis
No more than you get tired of sneering at Ed Smart and some of his family.
The step-son has my sympathy, not b/c he lost "his bestest dad," but b/c I don't think Angela is doing her best to parent him. If she were, IMO, she would spend time with him to help him deal with the man's death, instead of flying off to be on LKL. If she were doing her best as his parent, she would never take Soma to the point where "her head is bobbing into her food."
His bestest dad. So how many "dads" went through that poor little boy's life? Care to lay a few bets it was more than just 2?
I feel sure Angela's and Rick's epic love affair would have reached the restraining order stage within, probably, the next 6-12 months--had not Rick already been removed from her by his parole violation.
We're practically becoming a burlesque with this back and forth. I'm going to TRY to stop.

I'm curious about the logic and motivation of you and your cronies in the "Anyone-But-Ricci" contingent.
To: varina davis
Are you feeling like you're being ganged up on by a pack of vicious hyenas today?
Hearing David Morrow's take on Ricci is an eye opener. Bishop Morrow knew Ricci and his family. The "christians" on this thread ought to heed his words.

I've been "ganged up on" since I joined this thread, jo6pac, but that's OK, they're remarks expose their character.
Yes, one would think the self-professed "Christians" would at least consider what Bishop Morrow had to say.
