My prayers go out to the Ricci family during this time. RR was sent up the river and used as a scape-goat. No evidence, whatsoever, linking him to the disappearance of Elizabeth.

I find the above scenario more plausible than anything that deals with someone from the neighborhood. That is unless one of the neighbors is secretly a member of the drug trafficking operations in Salt Lake.

Because, you paragon of virtue, no matter what his lifestyle was, if he didn't do it -- he didn't do it. And until we are given evidence that he did do it, we will give the late Mr. Ricci the presumption of innocence.

1) The Smarts and Chief Dinse are coordinated in their media efforts and the Chief OK's each and every pearl that Ed drops.

The Smarts are frustrated with the pace of the investigation and are not getting the Chiefs blessing and are dropping the little bit's of information that they know here and there to keep the media's attention.{2}

3. By taking matters into their own hands, they are hindering the FBI and the PD, the professional's, ...to what? Keep the media attention? They are messing it up.

I read an article today on the web that said that Chief Dinse wanted to go back to L.A....this article was written I think in May of this year. Maybe he really wants to go now. I can't imagine having a millionaire run the show. Sounds like Ramsey.

Funeral services for Ricci are scheduled for Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Peel Funeral Home in Magna following a 7 p.m. viewing.

Spore, off the topic for a second -- WHY was there a funeral for Ricci in Magna? The home of Javier Sickler.

If he didn't do it, why did he hold police, the Smart family, and the American public hostage and not tell them where he went on his joyride Jun 8 and who he left with. If he didn't do it, he has nothing to worry about, no reason not to be honest. Just like you have no reason not to be honest, varina. Some people just have a big problem with honesty.. They pull a small clip out of a poster's comment and try to make it say something that has nothing to do with their post.

This is not a court, varina. No one has said they wanted to sentence the man. That is the job of the court system, not FR. We don't have all the facts (I hope). Some come on here to slam the Smart family. Some come here to try to convince people Ricci is innocent. Some, like myself, come to discuss what we know and try to determine what happened. There's something for everyone, even people that make no contribution and are petty distracters like yourself.

Spore, off the topic for a second -- WHY was there a funeral for Ricci in Magna? The home of Javier Sickler. Um, at the risk of being labeled a basher, maybe that's one of the few places where a Catholic church can be found in the area?

Guess it's possible he had family there, just seemed like a strange coincidence that it's in the same town where Javier Sickler lived and not in Ricci's town.
