Ken and Robb took a walk later and Robb got straightened out. No, Ken did not pound him into the ground like a tentstake, (that would have been more fun) they just talked and Ken made a profound remark about Robb, he said, "He's just young" No duh. Do they put those twenty somethings in there for comic relief? Was I ever that young? But I digress.
Chewy Gum had their own problems. As you may remember, last week the not so bright bunch lost their boat. They now decide, (what, two -three days later?) that their boat might have gotten caught on a little island across the bay. So the guys swim across for a look. Brian can swim fairly well, Clay took along a float and Ted, well, he made it back. No boat though. I could have told them that. And just how hard is it to make a raft? Like I said, not so bright.
Anyway the reward challenge actually looked like it might be fun to play and I must remember it for the company picnic. It consisted of two giant slingshots, two balls and a bunch of sticks with baskets nailed on the end. Two of the team launched the balls and the two teams scrambled to catch them with their basket sticks. Robb made four catches and actually did very well. I guess he is not such a bad guy as long as he is not talking. 5 to 4 Soup Jive wins and gets lots of lovely Thai Food. And now I will have to make a two-hour drive to the nearest Thai Restaurant because they made me hungry.
