(Well, folks, looks like I'll be subbing for cuz 'til his 'puter gets better; I'm new at this, so please be gentle. ;-))
Well, it looks like Tanya is out of the game. As we all know, Tanya had to leave the island due to her father's death before the game was complete, at least now we know the game wasn't affected by her departure. Nobody wanted to see her go, especially since she was the youngest member of Chewy-Gum, who needs all the youth they can get.
It looks like Helen's bitchiness is finally catching up with her--she now has two votes against her. Can she learn to loosen up and be personable? Can she learn to act life-like--- ie. smile and cry? We'll find out on the next episode of....
When we last left our little tribes, Strife was the Order of the Day at Sook-Jai. Jed and Stephanie had inexplicably separated themselves from the others who were---okay, they were obsessed with Building the Shelter--but still, Shelter-Building is preferable to spending the day painting a target on your back that says "Vote me out next!" Stephanie is now also the tribe's designated Sick Girl, which gives Jed a little breathing (sulking?) room, but not much.
Meanwhile, over at Chewy-Gum, It looks like the Bluebird of Happiness has finally flown the coop. Morale is low. Tensions are high. Idiots abound. Useless old ladies with Buffy hairdos keep not getting voted out. And it looks as if Ghandia is having Ted Issues. After yet another loss to Sook-Jai, Ghandia is seen sprawling along the cave floor with her hand resting on Ted's thigh--only inches from his ya-know. And we all know what that means, folks.
Swampfox was hoping for a "mental" challenge that Chewy-Gum could handle in this installment, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen...at least not for the Reward Challenge...

"Amid the chaos, the tribes compete at a reward challenge to win the help of two Red Berets - the equivalent of America's Green Berets - who will then be assigned to spend a day showing the winning tribe how to make the most of all available resources at their camp. Once the challenge begins, tempers flare once again, this time prompting a fierce physical and mental battle between the competing tribes."--Zap2it Oct 1, 2002
Well, Looks like Ghandia and Ted Will face off. Did something sexual happen? Who did what, or did anyone do anything at all? Did Ted "get the wrong impression" (yeah, right) from the hand-on-thigh thing? Or did Ted turn Ghandia down? Is Ghandia setting Ted up, or is Ted a liar? Will the tribe (especially the women) believe him? We'll find out, on the next episode of... wait, I already did that part. Nevermind!
Is that ok? It starts tonight!
