By all accounts they were violent protesters, and personally I am not surprised that a self-avowed libertarian is here condemning the police who were dutifully discharging their duties to secure the inalienable rights of Americans in the face of violent anarchist and communist demonstrators.

I suppose that's what I should expect coming from a fascist with no conscience who is willing to lie even when it is obviously untrue. Sigh. Careful, bucko. There were more 'there' than just you. I followed EVERY minute of this event. I am also an Oregonian. And the media SO over-hyped this event that they created a crisis. The protestors deserved EVERY drop of pepper spray aimed at them. Every drop. Bleeding heart liberals with kumbaya on their lips and hatred for reality and logic in their hearts.

They are aging hippies/dissident college students/nomadics/PETA freaks/tree-sitters/envirowackonazis/frustrated suburbanites who think that THEY are the only ones who know the true path to enlightenment. Your cop-bashing is B.S. Pure and simple B.S.
