Sounds good to me but for some reason I don't think JR would agree. For the vote to mean something it would have to be somewhere where all freepers could see it and vote, JR ain't gonna do that and I don't blame him. The loss of registered doesn't degrade the worth of this website in any way that matters. The loss of one will be offset by gaining new members, any one of us can be replaced.

Go back and read the 9/11 threads and type that tripe again. I work in a back office at a manufacturing plant and had it not been for Free Republic, no telling when I would have found out about the attacks on America. Instead, I read about the first plane flying into the WTC just moments after it happened and minutes later, pictures appeared in the thread. I was able to find an old black and white tv at the office, hooked up some rabbit ears, and watched the rest of the attacks unfold before my eyes.

Sure you'll see some propaganda around occasionally, but this is the internet - home to countless anonymous faces. I consider Free Republic full of patriotic Americans, veterans, and conservatives and I try to surround myself with folks of like mind.
