Well, once again I am the last one on, and everyone else is gone....these varied and divergent time zones, added to all of our different times of waking up and going to sleep, make for us missing one another at times...

Both BigDom and I had toooo much fun over this weekend, and getting up was a big fat chore....having to cook and pack a lunch was even more of a horror, but had to plow through and get things done...

AC...love the 'Slutgear' site....all of us gals can get ourselves all shipshape and looking fine...

Also loved that pic of the park and trees in Santiago...for some reason my attention was drawn to the old man, with his walker, taking the air in the park....I am reminded of many folks that I took care of in the nursing homes...

Many had just the regular standard model walker, but then there were others who had super duper models...models, with wheels, with baskets, with compartment..one old lady even had a special flashlight attatched to her walker for crusing around in the dark...one day, I heard this loud blast coming from her room, and good grief, she now had a loud bicycle horn clamped onto her walker...she told me she had plans for having a cup holder installed on her super duper model walker, to hold her 'drinks'(which in her case, when she could get it, was a highball, so she told me)

Ah, these seniors can be quite inventive...

And then there is the 77yr old lady, who over the past weekend, climbed Mt. Rainier....went to the top, and down with no problem...had two guides with her, and apparently she made the ascent and descent in record time, even for those 1/2 her age...we saw her on local TV, and she did not seem to really think she had done anything all that remarkable...she just said 'lets do it', and they did it...kudos to her, and her quest for more and more challenges and fun....

Today, it appears we are going into a cooling phase, with possible showers, over the next few days...the autumn season is on its way indeed...

The kids are still not back in school yet...I think they return tomorrow, or Thursday, so their time has run short...soon enough they will be back in their school routine...

BigDom is moaning in the shower...guess he had too good of a time over the weekend, and really needed another day to recover...he cannot wait until he is retired...2 1/2 yrs and counting, is what he keeps telling himself...well, he will be taking two weeks vacation the end of October, and we hopefully will be going to California to visit family there....of course, BigDom plans to investigate as many wineries and beer brewerys as possible...

He will need a week to recover from all the beer and wine tasting...Northern California is just full of tons of wineries...we may even take the famous 'Wine Train' trip, if time allows....

Thats a train that one boards in I think Napa County and they shuttle you back and forth between different wineries, allowing you time to disembark, and taste, and then they drive you on to the next place...sounds like our type of fun....

Well, better help Bigdom get himself organized, and give him a friendly shove out the door, sending him on his way to work...

See ya later...
