Hi Dark.. I'm so glad you found a special flower.. That's a really nice happening.. I don't think I know what that flower looks like.. If you do draw a pic of it, please let us all see it?

I'm pooped tonight. Just cleaned up supper and have been working all day since early, too early, this morning.. I have been creating.. and I hope you have too. Of course I created a real mess that I have to dig my way out of tomorrow.. urgh...

Already done. Just want to clean the image up a bit.
Maybe make it a little more clear. (Might be tempted to make it a watercolor experiment..)

At the moment it's done in colored pencil. The Cardinal flower is actually close to lake red in color. Saw a red eyed vireo and a northern flicker as well, but that didn't come close to nearly breaking my butt to sketch a flower that is kinda rare.

Best part was what I was thinking while drawing it, "Now watch, it's rare or something." This after looking like I was half-levitating down the bank.
(Imagine the figure in the drawing "My descent" wearing a turtleneck and longsleeve, a stupid grin, and flailing down an embankment with binocs and a sketch pad..)

If you would have got your new glass eye before the weekend, then you wouldn't be so pooped, but No!, you wouldn't listen, would you? And that damned pegged leg is swelling too much in this humidity, and the chafing, but its your bed ;-)

I suggest you dump the bloody parrot, give it back to that lush, AC...
