Been rather busy.. somewhat.
Kinda one of those 'Picasso-esque' weekends, the kind where nothing makes sense.
And you sincerely hope it never does.

Saw a "Cardinal Flower" on Saturday. Kinda rare in Pennsylvania, and elsewhere. It's a Scarlet Lobelia, actually. A true Lobelia, not those blue or white ones that get pawned off as one. Also rather difficult to get to when you do see the beastie. I half scrambled, half fell down an embankment in a creek gorge to go and draw one.

So I'm nursing hurt pride on the "falling down and embankment" part here.
Kinda a "Yeah, real former soldier here" moment.
