Thaks for all the tips gang...I have been going over in my mind, things I might have eaten, different from what BigDom ate, and I can think of nothing at all...Usually when I cook his dinner, I just save my portion for later on in the evening, but store it in the fridge...
I think the only thing that I have eaten differently from him, was I ate the last of the cherries, but they were perfectly fine, or so it seemed...I never heard of cherries making anyone sick like this...
So am just giving the old stomach a rest, and other than fluids, I am not going to ingest anything until Sunday...just plenty of various fluids, and taking my meds, and hopefully, whatever this is will just clear up....
I remember a few years back, while still working in the nursing homes, we had a terrible outbreak of flu...it was so odd, because most of the residents received the flu shots, and fully 90 percent of the more thasn 150 residents, came down with massive diarrhea(ugh, such an unpleasant subject)...I will never forget that, as the residents were all so ill, that most of the workers hardly had time to even take lunch time or breaks....
Thankfully, every resident recovered, which was surprising, because bad flu in the senior population, is really a killer...but all the residents recovered in a day or two, and that flu seemed to go through the whole nursing home, wing by wing and then went straight out the door...
And then the workers, nurses, aids, houskeepping, etc, started to come down with it....
I know its not the flu season at all, but somewhere, somehow, I think I was exposed to something...the only thing I can think of is the postal service(Yikes, the hubbys employer)....I say this because, we get lots and lots of postal deliveries, what with my ebay purchases, and the hubby himself does well in his orders from various places...
I did notice the other day, that we had a new postal delivery person, who took some rather long time, figuring out our address from the road where he drives his postal truck....(our house numbers are somewhat hidden by the out of control Rhodie bush).....
Our regular postal guy has been out for a few days, so I asked this new guy whats up?...He said he did not have the particulars on our regular guy, but just that he was sick and had been out of work for a few days...so maybe he had something, and being as he and I have had some package and mail exchanges lately, perhaps I caught something from him....thats really all I can think of....
In any case, I aim to be well and back to normal, with a few days rest...after all, I cannot give up my festivities of pub and restaurant hopping, beer tasting, and chair breaking....

howdy all...
thought I'd just pop over and see what you are all doing these days.
As most know I lost Nacho just a month ago. Well two weeks following that, my little Missie started acting like she had a UTI..took her to the doc and yes she had that but she was also found to be hyperthyroid! Poor little girl...she is on meds and was doing well until last night when I had to take her to the pet ER...she was acting funny..they did a few tests and checked her over ( I had just got vet reports earlier in the day to do with her follow up and the news was all good so imagine my suprise...) well she got some fluids with an antibiotic and she settled down nicely. Today she has been kinda quiet but I hope ok. Will know more tomorrow.
Back to Nacho...my vet is such a dear..she made a donation to the UC Davis School of Vet Medicine for companion animals research. I called to thank her and she told me that they now have a memorial hall where the little pets names are put on plaques in memory..Is that nice or what!
Looks like you have all been having a lot of fun here in this playpen...:) Palo..how hot has it been? I gotta tell you today here in my area on the central coast of Ca..a lady was walking her doggie and she was wearing a stroller faux fur coat! It was only 62 here today...
