I know how it is Mom - I used to do the same thing figuring out what the time was there in England when I was in the United States. For me now, EST is easy, 6 hours so I just look at the opposite hour to get the time. Is it nine hours for the west coast from Spain?

It think it was 8hours from here to England on Eastern time, and then it was 11 hours from here to England on our own Pacific time...I know Andy told me if I wanted to call him the best time to call him was between 5am and 6am Pacific time...

Luckily for me, at the time, I was working graveyard shift at the nursing home, and there was a public phone there, so since I was already awake, at work, on my last break, I could call Andy if I needed to....

Tho, it was usually him calling me at odd hours, ,asking for 'MORE MONEY', please...(it was at these times of his financial crunch, I was his dear sweet mama, and not the
old foggie that he thought knew nothing)....kids, smart asses, all....
