Greyhound bus driver Mr. John Levine, who was kind enough to stop at the Greyhound terminal long enough for us to enfoy a brief confection at the Poorhouse. Mr. Levine is a 41-year veteran driver with Greyhound, sixth in the entire country in seniority.
John's one of the GoodGuys...Props to all the GoodGuys.

Oh, thats wonderful Loddy....it really does take a special person to be a 'good' Greyhound bus driver...you have to contend with all types of people, drive long miles, keep the atmosphere on the bus pleasant for everyone, be responsible for hauling cargo(which is, as I understand it, a big money maker for Greyhound), keep to a schedule, and try to be pleasant, no matter what...
Its not an easy job, but this is a great pic of an obviously happy driver ...YIKES....41yrs driving a bus....thats a long time, guess he really loves his job...
Thanks for this...it makes me just smile to remember all my Greyhound adventures...
