YUK Exactly .. and this isn't the first time they have tried this so-called reporting .. you should see the pictures of car accidents they print I think it's time to cancle that paper

Both papers I worked for had strict policies about not printing photos of people who had died in fires or accidents or crimes... nor were we to show injuries. It's just inhumane - disrespectful of victims and families and a violation of personal privacy.
But then my first front page photo was of a big salmon being sliced open by high school students on a field trip to a fish hatchery, and the eggs were spilling out into a basin. When I turned in the roll of film for the biology project story, I did not expect it to be front page news. I was surprised to see it there the next day, and the paper got some complaints about it. It was a really cool shot, though.
