Stan (I think Johnson) who is the head of the "Spirit of Prophecy Church" here in Topeka and had a regional turned national radio presence prior to Y2K. He hosted the "Prophecy Club" radio show. They mostly hawked survival equipment for Y2K then went broke when the World didn't end on time. A friend of mine did a remodeling job for him in about November of 1999. I told him to ask Stan why he was spending ten grand on a new bathroom for the wife when the world was going to end in two months. I still found several of his guests and commentators interesting.

Now I have checked out timothysnodgrass.com. Prophet? No more than Matt Drudge used to be. He has lots of interesting links to articles from know sources, that seem at least intersting. I suppose if I dig deeper I would find all the freakshow stuff, eh?
