I'm not sure you could recognize authenticity of it bit you.
Given your hostility to Scripture, I don't know where you get off being such an expert in the application of it . . . ahhhhh, there it is, the qualification to be such an expert on sanctimoniousness. I C.

You obviously know nothing about me.
It's rather startling to see such a reaction even to what I've written that you're supposedly responding to. Amazing.
Ah well. Happy to have been some amusement??? to you.

Wayne Green provides specs for running a cold fusion experiment, which can be done in the kitchen without destroying the stove and the countertop. It is not hard to find the chemicals, they are very common. You need a power supply to provide an electrical bias on the circuit, and you don't need precious metals. It doesn't cost much. And it works. The water boils, the electrode gets packed with ions, and it stops.
I don't think it is nuclear, though. Probably just a hydrogen absorption catalytic reaction. Like the hydrogen absorber mesh on the natural gas input line to the home.

What was your sense in your spirit as you read it? My sense was this person does have something of a prophetic gift. I don't tknow much about him, other than what I have heard here on FR, but for some reason,I do sense he has a gift. I myself have had a sense of foreboding, an ominous feeling for some time now..

I don't quite remember the relationship.

My sense is much the same as yours.
Add to that our FREEPERS who know him . . . certainly worth the added prayer.

I can't go to the supermarket to renew my tinfoil supply!

Obviously you are a less than worthy tinfoiler. Otherwise, you'd have closets full of rolls of foil. Your bedroom walls would be papered with it. And your computer room would have multiple layers of it.
REFORM OH NAKED ONE! Put on thy tinfoil or suffer banishment when the giant foil spheres arrive to rescue the faithful.

Timothy Snodgrass (8/25/02- from your post #304)
"On Sunday morning, August 25, I was taken in the Spirit and saw three large angels with flaming swords, who will soon fly over the continents of North and South America. A 9.0+ earthquake is about to occur, prior to the conclusion of 2002. These angels have the power to deflect the coming great quakes from the continents of North and South America to another part of the world where less damage would be incurred, or to lift their swords over the land in judgment. Many will mock this warning from the Holy Spirit, as in the days of Noah before the Great Flood.
I've been following this thread over the weeks and was surprised that there was no update now that the end of the year has passed. This thread was hoppin' back then- started to remind me of Y2K. I wonder if there are any comments now. I went to the prophet's website and found no mention of this mega earthquake. I did find this:
Judging Prophecies
In judging between true and false prophecies, many fall into the same common pitfall: Underestimation of God's grace and omnipotence. In 2 Kings 20:1, the prophet Isaiah told King Hezekiah: "Get your house in order, you are going to die; you are not going to recover". Should have Isaiah articulated his prophecy differently, or did he really hear from God? I believe he heard from God. But note that by 2 Kings 20:5, God had already changed his mind because of his loving kindness and mercy towards King Hezekiah, and his omnipotence to intervene in a terminal situation. King Hezekiah was healed, and given another 15-years of life. In judging whether a prophetic word is true or false you must not only discern the prophecy, but also discern the heart of God during the progression and resolve of the word at its conclusion.
This guy is full of it. We all know what defines a false prophet. What he says now could apply to any prophecy that doesn't come to pass- "oh you have to discern the heart of God to understand why he changed his mind". As if the false prophet is the only priveledged one to "discern the heart of God".
Rom 11:33-34
33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
Nobody "discerns" the heart of God. Prophets are humble messengers relaying the word of the Lord. As long as there have been prophets, there have been false prophets seeking glory for themselves. Also, look at the example that Mr. Snodgrass gives with King Hezekiah:
II Ki 20:1-11
1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
2 Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,
3 I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
4 And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,
5 Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.
6 And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
7 And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
8 And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?
9 And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
10 And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.
11 And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.
Here was an awesome sign that all could see- plus repentance- plus an explanation through the prophet from God. I fear that the itching ears work both ways- not just crying peace, but false prophets crying wolf so often that when the Lord really does speak to his people of coming judgement, none will listen. Any comments?

I have commented in another thread.
I am disappointed in Tim's . . . not sure how to put it . . . candor . . . THOUGH HE IS ABOVE AVERAGE IN CANDOR.
He asserted well before the end of the year--I think the last week of November maybe to the first week or so of Dec--some time in there--that a UFO from God broke the huge meteor up into harmless pieces. That otherwise the meteor would have caused the 9.0+ quake.
He apologized or at least admitted a flaw in not being more open to allowing for prayer to alter what God had planned.
He also asserted that the multiple 7.0 and there abouts plus the 8.3 in Alaska were dissipations of the energy that had been slated for the 9.0+ quake.
In a sense, he covered his tracks, so to speak.
But I found it all lacking in what I expect from a prophet of God--though I realize at least a couple of times, the Old Testament stars blew it, too. I haven't yet tracked those refs down. Hasn't been enough of a priority.
Nevertheless, he did call for lots of prayer as have others about such things. He did originally suggest that God would moderate it at least in moving the epicenter.
I'm not yet ready to pounce on him as a false prophet. I guess I see him as growing and learning at this point. How much of an anointing does he have? I don't know. Does he have a gift of prophecy vs a calling as prophet? I don't know.
I still lean on the FREEPER's knowledge of him who know him. Close range knowledge is better than what we get. They assert he's authentic. I'm still willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Am I merely overly charitable than average? I SURE HOPE SO. I like to reap/harvest that.
I STILL STRONGLY BELIEVE that we shall see the day when a prophet says thus and so and it occurs precisely as predicted in manner and event and precisely in timing. In a way, I'm glad we're not there yet. I think A LOT OF HARD, TERRIBLE things will also be the norm at such times.
But I don't see Christians mostly--even Christians preparing themselves--much less their families and homes; hearts and habits for such a day--much less the pagans in our land. That's a lot more sobering to me than Tim's flaws.
I don't need to throw any rocks at Tim though I'm willing to call a spade a spade. At least to some degree, I think he missed it. He--to some degree--admitted that he missed it--and he admitted it well before the end of the year.
I was also disappointed when he didn't produce the length and quality of a document on UFO's that I ASSUMED he intended to produce from what he said. On the key point of distinguishing from good and evil UFO's he wrote maybe a line or two. Instead, he encouraged us to get his book as soon as he could get the funds to publish it.
I have a lot of grace for that--ministry and family duties and all. Still, I felt what he advertised in terms of the coming UFO doc and what he produced were at odds. Perhaps that was mostly due to my expectations. But I think, in part, he copped out. My guess is he got busier or tireder than he planned and reduced the quality and quantity of the UFO doc product. That didn't feel right. And I was at least disappointed.
But that's a relatively small thing. I do need to send him a copy of this, though. Perhaps before I hit the post button to be more kosher [DID THAT].
I wouldn't get all wound up about Tim one way or the other. I knew he was human with human flaws in the beginning. I didn't know whether he'd turn out to be well above average in accuracy or not. But I was more than willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and wait and see. I mostly still am. I like lots of grace. I want to extend lots of grace. God will deal with Tim whether he's just a prophet in training, maturing or wholesale false.
Sooner or later there will be more than one prophet who will speak humbly and accurately what God wants them to speak AND GOD WILL EMPHATICALLY BACK IT UP PRECISELY. I guess we all would be wise to merely stay tuned. But mostly we would be wise to walk closer and closer to God that WE MIGHT HEAR ACCURATELY WHAT GOD WOULD HAVE US TO DO DAY BY DAY, MOMENT BY MOMENT.
That's probably more of a challenge for most of us than calling the plays on Tim's field accurately or not.
Thanks for your post. I understand your perspective a lot. Blessings in the New Year.

Thanks for your thoughtful reply. I agree with much of what you wrote, especially:
"I STILL STRONGLY BELIEVE that we shall see the day when a prophet says thus and so and it occurs precisely as predicted in manner and event and precisely in timing. In a way, I'm glad we're not there yet. I think A LOT OF HARD, TERRIBLE things will also be the norm at such times."
I believe what the Bible says, and do believe that Jesus was not exagerating in Matt. 24:21. I guess what bothers me about these current day prophets is that they discredit the whole idea of prophecy when they are wrong. I've known people close to me that thought they had this "gift" but ended up looking like fools in the end. In the Bible it looks to me like most prophets were very reluctant. These modern day counterparts are always a little too eager for me.

Evidently you think the Apostle Paul was giving bad advice when he instructed all believers to pray to interpret tongues and to prophecy. . . I don't recall the Aspostle Paul telling us to rely upon profoundly stupid geological theories for prophecies...

That otherwise the meteor would have caused the 9.0+ quake. Run. Quite frankly, run from this guy, he is IMO a charlatan. A meteor of any size would cause something far greater than a 9.0 quake. And whenever a prophet has to rely upon far-out answers to explain the failures of their prophesy, odds are that they are false prophets.
