That pinup pic routine has me in stitches....and the catnip stories.....lordy, aren't our critters a riot....I don't see how folks could not want dogs or cats or dogs and cats!! They keep life interesting.

My kitties also have another picture above the dishes..it is the one with the Kilbran cat sitting on a stool with his guitar and he is singing:

My Little Girl Kitty never acquired a taste for 'mouse'. She'd catch 'em and kill 'em and then walk away from 'em.

Tux, on the other hand....was a terror....he would stalk and catch....bring into the back yard or on the porch and play 'toss and catch' or "toss and flop"....toss in the air, pretend to walk away, and when the mouse recovered or thought it was safe to take off, he'd pounce again!! We clocked him playing this game close to half an hour one time!!

Alas, CRUNCH TIME took over....yuck!

You shoulda been here a few minutes ago. Roommate was giving her cat a bath. He would have made about as much noise if he were being s-l-o-w-l-y drawn and quartered while playing bagpipes...

One day I was driving with my 9-year-old granddaughter
and beeped the horn by mistake.

She turned and looked at me for an explanation.

I said, "I did that by accident."

She replied, "I know that grandpa."

I replied, "How did you know?"

She said, "Because you didn't say "Asshole!" afterwards.

Oh, my little darlings don't dine on Mouse de fois gris ( or however you spell it) on mouse anything..Oh no..just the good stuff the doc wants em to eat. YumYum is really good about it, Taco can pretty much have anything he wants, Nacho did not like the low protein stuff even if it had the regular kind of stuff in it and Missie..well she wants wine with her dinner, she is sooooo picky...but nooooo mouse products...

I always thought that Nermal would be too lazy to catch a mouse until I let him in one night and he brought one with him that he wasn't done with yet. Saw him one with a couple more times after that too. He would get it in his mouth and jump up in the front window and stare at me.

Well, when Nermal comes a courtin, please tell him not to bring the little Missie a bouquet of mousies...catnip would ne nice...and she will purr happily sweet muffins in his ears then. >^.^<
