Mummification was done in a refridgerator for week and half or so, but it didn't stop the bugs after the body was dumped about 2/16. I sometimes design frigs, they dry everything not sealed up.

Interesting. Would those very time-specific blowflies still be attracted to tissue that had been frozen and then thawed out?

Well, what about ice crystals? Would they be evident in a refrigerated body? Somebody mentioned freezer burn. Would mummification camoflauge that?
Guess you never figured you'd be going online and giving a short course in cryogentics, huh? LOL

But, would the blow flies be interested in the body after all that time? One of the bug guys, I think Haskell, said there were blow flies and the time frame for them is pretty tight since they like "fresh" (This is so awful. That poor girl). I think I have to agree with wonders and say that perhaps she was still alive until maybe the middle of February. I know I'm coming in late to the discussion but this is bothering me.
