A thought crossed my mind today and hasn't left since.

All along I have thought that Danielle was accidently killed through medication by her parents. (They wanted to make sure that the children slept through the night while they partied.)

In the morning they find her dead. They know that if an autopsy is performed they face negligent manslaughter at the least. The have to find a fall guy.

Isn't it convenient for them that the guy 2 doors down and across the street is loading up his motor home the way he normally does when he leaves for the weekend.

Is it just a bit suspect that the 911 call was placed just a few moments after DW left the neighborhood?

I also wonder who the cops would have suspected had DW not been sooooooo convenient to focus their attention on.......

Have at it friends, rip my theory to shreds, in our search we may just stumble upon the real truth.

The REALLY REALLY bizarro thing is that when Bren called 911 she was asked to describe Danielle she said (from the original tape):

She's 6 foot tall
Brown Hair
Green eyes.

WHO IS SHE DESCRIBING?
Innit conveeeeeenient?

This would indicate that the body was planted on DW by the Van Dams, either in his home or vehicles, after he had already left for his weekend jaunt?

A little late but here's a new twist....

There was a 2 week period between when Danielle went missing and when she was placed at Dehesa. (Experts say no earlier than 2/9, no later than 2/20).

Say she was drugged so she would sleep all night. Or perhaps she ingested something accidently. If she overdosed into a coma but not death, there would be time for the drugs to leave her system. Just put her someplace where...well you know.

They assume she is dead but she is not. So, no bugs. That would explain why there is no body silhouette at Dehesa. It would be where ever she was left. She would be ALIVE and become dehydrated. So dehydration...mummification would have a head start.

Also remember (don the asbestos) when Brenda called 911 and they asked for a description of Danielle she said:
6 feet tall
Brown hair
Had green eyes

That was the original tape played in court. MANY heard it. This was before the tweaked version and transcript. So they may well have seen him leave the neighborhood and decided to pick him.
