Last week someone got the pic of the ORANGE FIBERS and tweaked it with software to equalize the backgrounds. I need to know who did it and do you have the PIC?

The Big Stone Lodge was a Western themed family-type bar. (Yeah bars are real family oriented, aren't they?) It was like Dad's in that they served dinner and then turned into a "bar" at night. It was about maybe 2 - 3 miles west of Dad's off Poway Road. It is now closed.

I find the In Cahoots thing interesting, but inconclusive. DW's DNA was submitted to the Cold Hit program, so IF he has any connection to other crimes in CA, it will see daylight when this trial is over and the gag lifted.
I do think it's silly to try to keep smearing the Van Dam's this way. I am postive there is testimony about this being a DW hang out. Which only corrabates Brenda's statements on this point. Eventually it will get found and posted.

If it wasn't a hangout, why would he tell brenda about wearing boots to cahoots?

If you are going to attempt to police the rest of us, try being all inclusive. Ping to letting things drop and ping to TRUTH AND HONESTY. I'm not trying to police anybody. I'm trying to read these posts to gather info and other people's opinions. I'm reading something interesting and then something stupid and childish comes up. Sometimes you sound like a kid in school. It's very annoying. I don't mind a little humor in this very heavy, at times, thread. Just stop being so sensitive! Relax and enjoy the conversation. For the most part, yesterday's thread was very interesting.

They also asked for Blackbournes testimony as well.
I think they are going to sift through all the testimony, before this is over.

Right...wasn't sure if your post was about new info or the Faulkner/Blackbourne that we knew about.
Thanks.

This is political...there are many folks who are positive that the prosecution is exploiting this case and draining every last drop of media attention to help them in their re-election efforts. Not all of us agree with this..

Kim, that comes from Brenda the famous SD swinger/liar, and is not admissable evidence/testimony on this forum.
Course, that doesn't explain why it was mentioned by others as a DW hang out. Mommya mentioned Glennie Nasland as the source, and I thinks so too. In the context that Stone Lodge had shut down, and now they went to In Cahoots to listen to CW music, is what I recall.

I'm a little behind on the curve, but has it been noted and discussed that Ott and his partner were the cops who visited DW in jail after he had hired a lawyer? Very significant, I'm thinking.
Does anyone know if Ott and partner have reputation as being "SD District Attorney Paul Pfingst's goons?" Are there any ties there that anyone knows of? Campaign contributions, union actitvities, etc.?
Here for persusal are stories about Ott's prior improprieties:
Murder case affected by issue of cops' credibility | Ex-Marine pleads guilty to lesser charge in slaying
The San Diego Union - Tribune; San Diego, Calif.; Jun 5, 2002; J. Harry Jones;
Abstract: This week, during pretrial motions, defense attorneys Gary Gibson and Steven Wadler asked San Diego Superior Court Judge David Danielsen to declare that [Michael Ott] and [Mark Keyser] were incompetent to be witnesses because they lied to a judge and a prosecutor two years ago to secure an arrest and search warrant in a different murder case.
According to documents filed by the defense in the Zapata case, Ott and Keyser obtained warrants in the 2000 case by saying a witness had picked a suspect out of a lineup when the identification had been iffy at best.
Ott also may become a focus of a capital case expected to start this month. Calvin Parker is accused of raping, torturing and killing his roommate. Ott interviewed Parker at police headquarters, but a significant portion of the beginning of the videotaped interview was somehow lost, said Parker's attorney, Richard Gates.
Detectives take heat for attempt at interview | Would-be contact with Westerfield `shocking' The San Diego Union - Tribune; San Diego, Calif.; Mar 8, 2002; Greg Moran and Joe Hughes;
Abstract: Detectives Mark Keyser and Michael Ott tried to visit [David Westerfield] in County Jail downtown two days after he pleaded not guilty to the charges and three weeks after he hired defense attorney Steven Feldman.
They did not seek permission from Feldman. Westerfield turned them away and called his attorney. Feldman cited the incident in court papers in support of his request for a gag order in the case. A judge is scheduled to hear it today.
Keyser and Ott are part of two homicide teams that were involved in collecting evidence in the van Dam case. They interviewed Westerfield several times in the days after Danielle was reported missing from her home Feb. 2.
