In a 165-page deposition Campbell gave to Sears' attorneys Nov. 4, he detailed his love affair with Mrs. Walsh during the two years he lived in the family's home. Campbell, who coached Adam's baseball team and was the boy's godfather, said Walsh and his wife smoked marijuana and used cocaine.

My goodness, Miz. No wonder John Walsh didn't have a problem with the Van Dams when he interviewed them. What a creep, and his wife too. Did Damon share after the interview? Enquiring minds need to know (or maybe not!).

The more we learn about the private lives of the parents of abducted children, the more we realize that some of those private lives ARE influencial in the dangers presented around their children. However, I do admit the information about the Walsh family took me completely by surprise. But now I know why JW was accepted with open arms, while the guy who saw Danielle's diary and made the accusation of sexual abuse was kicked out.

The devil always takes care of his own, and the evil ones will rally around each other. Might be something to consider in the future if another instance comes up like the Van Damneds ... who parents surround themselves with can be a good indication of unspoken things.

Thanks for posting that. When I mentioned this incident on another thread, I was roundly flamed and told that I was gossip-mongering and making up "untruths" about a wonderful and heartbroken family. Now it comes out (within the last week, or so) that Walsh is currently cheating on his wife, as well as she was cheating on him during the time of Adam's disappearence.

I don't care if he has a "hit" show that he created, based on the tragedy that his son suffered. I really don't want to know any more about his sordid life, or hear his "expert" opinions on current cases. Publicize the cases -- he does that very well -- but, please no more maudlin opinionizing!

Pinz, there are some things I'd rather not picture. Brenda and John Walsh..er..together...is one of them.

...now where is that Clorox? I need to wash out my brain!
