Its just 61 here right now, and due to go up to a whopping whole 71...it will stay this way for about 2 days, and then latter in the week, will get into the 80s...its perfect autumn weather...

Sure hope Bills new film turns out ok...no subject is finer for pics than babies and doggies...sure wish you had a scanner so you could post pics of your gang...Say, I will send you some money, and you can have the pics of Lulu and Happy duplicated, and send them to me...I would so love to see the wondrous Happy, and the ever lovely Lulu...(include Bill if you wish, I would like to see the man who scares Palo sometimes, and who chauffeurs Palo around for her shopping expeditions)

Hi Mom.. I did my share to help the economy today... Got my hair permed and cut, and then Dyan made me go to the Fabric store to help her pick out something to make window shades.. She of course found nothing but I found fabric for the dining room and my puter room.. Now I just need some good weather to sew..

After the fabric store we went to Kitchen's etc. and she talked me into getting the new Cuisinart I've been wanting..plus a feeeeew other things for her and I.. ;) Bought Devin a great big stuffed rubber rat.. I hope the dog doesn't get it.. He has one stuffed toy all over the back yard now.. He must be teething because he's chewing on everything.. He got her underwear and bathing suit last week.. lol I think he needs a muzzle.. He's so cute tho, and so good other than that, you can't yell at him..

She just told me today, that a week or so ago, she was walking the dog and had Devin and his friend with her and they weren't too far from the house and they came upon a Mountain Lion just ahead of them in the field.. He was sitting there and was very big. Definately a Mountan Lion.. She discribed him from the square shaped head and size and color.. Wow..

I told her to call someone.. That's a very lived in area.. She told the kids to be very quiet and luckily the dog or lion didn't see or smell each other and they backed slowly away.. They were very lucky.. We've heard of cats around here, but never lions. She has heard of no signs in her area of missing dogs or cats.. Maybe it was just passing thru... I hope so...

the reason they look lousy, man in camera store explained, is 2 things are broken in my dad's old (fancy expensive) camera
camera storeman offered to fix it for $120, so bill is gonna find out how much digital camera costs

I never got to swim
before we went swimming bill said ''there are 4 photos left
you take them of me and Happy and Lulu so I can send them to my sis''
I did not notice black strap was hanging down in front of lens
when I told him he said I was idiot
it's cause we were rushing I didnt concentrate
he was upset with me, so I didnt go swimmin'
then he had them developed and every picture was bad cause of broken camera
turns out camera was in such bad shape the blackstrap didnt even show up
he kindly offered to take me to pool at other side of town, but when we arrived there was swim meet
so I just took a shower
he said ''I guess I drove you all this way so you could take a shower''
