FWIW, the entomology actually interested me to a certain degree...It seems that using an Entomologist is SOP when a body has become decomposed.

As I see it, the prosecution is saying that the head should have a maggot mass and that's why the timelines don't fit.

Haskell was ADAMANT that the flies will go to ANY opening, INCLUDING natural orifices...

I'm thinking that maybe something was placed over her face/head which would delay the fly arival in that area.

Particularly, maybe someone close to the deceased could not bear to see her face laying there on the ground, so throw a towel or something over the face...a coyote or even the wind could have moved in later.

Say, an orange towel? If she were knocked out, somehow, couldn't a plastic bag been used to suffocate her, like Kevorkian uses?
