I didn't mean it as an insult Judy...and I do apologize for the way that sounded. If he's guilty, does he deserve compassion? I can see asking for healing, salvation and changing his life et al, but he needs to pay the price.

Splitting hairs with you here ... Jesus already "paid the price". But I do agree that we cannot escape the consequences of our actions. That's why Jailhouse Conversions never sway me to defer punishment or remove a death penalty.

BTW, I am sure glad Jesus never lost any of HIS compassion for any of us. I'd sure be in a world of hurt!
