So the fact that the movie was so offensive that two adults burst into tears from watching it is completely lost on you folks because the they were alternate jurors ?

It is Denial.

That's not my take on it. To me, it is an indication that the regular jurors will be basing their judgements on facts of the case, not emotionalism. If they could be stoic during such an emotional issue, it is my belief that they are taking their duties VERY seriously.
